A limited run of tickets for 2019's Electric Picnic are to be released on Monday 3rd December, in a move that will see prices beat the VAT increase. Taking place from 30th August - 1st September, Electric Picnic is Ireland's largest music and arts festival.

With the festival an annual sell out, potential attendees are advised to head to the official Electric Picnic site without delay, to get hold of the in-demand tickets.

Electric Picnic 2019 follows on from 2018's event, which saw The Prodigy bring the event to an explosive close.

Other acts to have appeared over the weekend included  R&B and Gospel legend Mavis Staples, who was joined by man of the hour Hozier, and emotive sets from Walking On Cars, the striking Chvrches and hip-hop superstar Kendrick Lamar.

2019's Electric Picnic will see an increased capacity with an additional 2,500 tickets available.
