Classic rock statesmen Uriah Heep, Bradford Britrock sensations Terrorvision, Scottish rockers Gun and more helped Stondead Festival come alive on Saturday night (28th August 2021). Now in its third year, and taking place at Newark Showgrounds in Newark-on-Trent, 2021’s event followed on from 2019’s Stonedeaf festival which saw Glenn Hughes, Phil Campbell and Geoff Tate Storm Nottinghamshire. The 1980s returned over the weekend as Rewind South donned its dayglos for the most fun music festival of 2021. Taking place at Temple Island Meadows, Henley on Thames from 21st – 22nd August 2021, the event saw star turns from Trevor Horn, Billy Ocean, and more, as well as headliners Jimmy Somerville and Wet Wet Wet in what was a glorious celebration of the loudest decade in music. Following on from upgrades of 'Sabotage', and 'Vol. 4' which were released earlier this year, Black Sabbath's 'Technical Ecstasy' will receive a Super Deluxe Release this October. The album, originally released in 1976, has been given a remix by Steven Wilson for the package, which also includes the original album, as well as outtakes and live material.  |
