Rewind The 80s Music Festival has announced the headline DJs for its' all new Club Tropicana tent. At Rewind Scotland and Rewind North Club Tropicana will be headlined by Pat Sharp on Friday, Gary Davies on Saturday and Bruno Brooks on Sunday. Once again Pat Sharp will headline the tent on Friday at Rewind South while Mark Goodier keeps the party going on Saturday and Gary Davies on Sunday.  Photo: Eamon O'Neill.

Sunstroke 2020 kicked off in Dublin on Thursday night (27th February 2020), with Fangclub, Dead Label and more launching Ireland’s newest alt metal experience. Taking place in Blood Mary’s, the invite-only event was held in celebration of this summer’s Sunstroke Festival, which takes place 13th – 14th June at Punchestown Racecourse, and is set to feature headliners Faith No More and Deftones. Fish will embark on a series of career spanning concerts as part of his upcoming Weltschmerz tour, playing 13 dates across the UK in March, including two shows at London’s Islington Assembly Hall on March 16th and 17th. The ex-Marillion frontman is also set to appear at Ireland's Forever Young Festival, on 10th July.  Iconic music legends Nile Rodgers and Chic will take to The Amphitheatre on Bristol’s Harbourside for a night of dance and Good Times as part of the Colston Hall Presents programme on Thursday 16th July. This will be the Stone Roses' front man's first solo headline tour anywhere in nearly a decade.  Paul Weller is getting back on this road this Autumn having announced a huge run of live dates, kicking off at Belfast Ulster Hall on the 25th October. Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette has announced her much anticipated European Leg of her 2020 World Tour celebrating 25 years of 'Jagged Little Pill' and her upcoming album 'Such Pretty Forks In The Road'. The run will see the Canadian perform in thirteen cities across Europe, including stops in London and Dublin.  Day tickets for this year's Hellfest will go on sale on Wednesday 26th February. The highlight of the French metal calendar, Hellfest 2020 is set to take place in Clisson from 19th - 21st June, and will be headlined by Deftones, Faith No More, and System of a Down.  Ramblin' Man Fair has added George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Foghat and Goodbye June to its 2020 lineup. The latest additions join the already announced Clutch, Lynyrd Sknyrd and Rival Sons, who top the 2020 bill. Returning for a sixth year to Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent, this years' event takes place on the 17th, 18th and 19th July.  |
