Download Festival has announced the massive line up for Download TV, a virtual festival available via Download Festival’s official social channels, and YouTube across 12-14 June 2020, the weekend that the festival was set to have taken place. The event will be available online for one weekend only, whetting the appetite for the event's return in 2021.
Finnish rock band Blind Channel are back with a brand new single ‘Gun’ on 3 rd July via the Ranka Kustannus label. The single is taken from their 3rd album ‘Violent Pop’ and has been produced by Jonas Olsson. The track has been mixed by the man behind the biggest Volbeat hits and the Amaranthe sound, Danish sound wizard Jacob Hansen.
Renowned Cuban music star José Alberto Tamayo Diaz a.k.a. “EL Ruiseñor” ("nightingale") releases his single “Cualquiera Resbala Y Cae” (anyone who slips and falls), a duet with Candido Fabre on 18th June 2020. Taken from the album “Mi Tumabo”, the track was produced and arranged by triple Latin Grammy award winner Geavanis Alcantara Lopez.

Save Our Venues is a new national campaign to save hundreds of grassroots music venues at imminent risk of being closed down – permanently. Colston Hall Presents ‘Bristol Takeover Online’, a live streamed festival celebrating in particular Bristol’s music artists and venues, as is a free digital festival in partnership with Save Our Venues campaign.
Bloodstock Open Air has become the latest victim of the COVID-19 global crisis. Following on from the cancellation of the 2020 editions of Download Festival, Hellfest, Rewind, and countless others, the Midlands metal fest has now sadly been postponed until next year. In a statement, organisers have however confirmed that most of the 2020 line-up will return for 2021.
Parlophone Records will continue their reissues series of the IRON MAIDEN catalogue with a fifth set of Digipak CD titles in The Live Collection – Remastered, to be released on June 19th. The albums included in this release are the seminal live recordings Live After Death and Rock In Rio.
