The second Stonedeaf Festival has taken place in Nottinghamshire, with Phil Campbell, Geoff Tate, and headliner Glenn Hughes among the acts gracing the stage at Newark Showgrounds. Taking place on Saturday (24th August 2019), this year’s line-up was capped with glorious sunshine, and a flyover by the stunning Battle of Britain plane from the nearby the RAF Conningsby airbase. The winners of the third annual Heavy Music Awards have been announced at a packed O2 Forum Kentish Town, hosted by Laura Jane Grace alongside live performances by Cancer Bats, Loathe, Nova Twins and Delaire The Liar. The 6CD/DVD collection includes a newly remastered version of the album, plus unreleased studio recordings, audio and video of the band’s performance at the 1990 Monsters of Rock festival. Titled 'This is How We Roll', the set is due for release on 11th October 2019.  The finalists for the third annual Heavy Music Awards have been announced. Following nominations from industry insiders representing hundreds of organisations, the shortlists represent a true cross-section from across all corners of the heavy music world. The Heavy Music Awards take place at O2 Forum Kentish Town, London on Thursday 22 August.  The Magpie Salute return with their new album, ‘High Water II’ on 18th Octoberv ia Provogue (Europe, Australia, New Zealand) / Eagle Rock (North America). The album will be released on Limited edition 180g 2LP Brown vinyl, 2LP 180g Black vinyl, CD and digitally  Everclear front man Art Alexakis has announced his debut solo album, along with a U.K. and Ireland tour to support it. Due for release on 11th October 2019 via The End Records/BMG, 'Sun Songs' explores sounds, styles and lyrical subjects outside the normal realm of Everclear.  |
