Returning to the UK for the first time since 2022, in October, Alice and his award-winning band are heading to arenas in Glasgow (14th), Birmingham (16th), Manchester (17th), Leeds (18th) and, for the first time in many years, more up close and in your face shows at London’s Eventim Apollo (20th + 21st).  Electric Picnic, Ireland’s biggest music and arts festival has announced that the main stage at the 2024 festival will be connected to the grid and powered by renewable energy in 2024. This marks the first time a festival of its kind in the UK and Ireland will install mains power to reduce its carbon footprint. This demonstrates Electric Picnic’s future commitment to Stradbally and Laois.  Pearl Jam will release their twelfth studio album, Dark Matter, on Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records on April 19, 2024 and launch a 35-date worldwide tour this May, which includes stops in Dublin and London. Hellfest has announced the on sale date for day passes for the 2024 event. Set to be a four-day extravaganza, this year's Hellfest is set to be headlined by Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Metallica and Foo Fighters. Also announced, Kerry King meanwhile will play Hellfest, marking the first Euro date announced for the former Slayer man.  Steve Lukather has revealed that there will be no new Toto music “right now”, due to legal complications. The guitarist made the comment speaking to eonmusic at the Leslie West Tribute, which took place in Agoura Hills, California on Tuesday 23rd January 2024.
