Celebrated US icons Blue Öyster Cult have been announced as headliners for 2023's Stonedead Festival. Joining them on the bill are Alt metal trio Therapy? Irish revival rockers The Answer, and a host of others. Taking place at Newark Showgrounds, Lincolnshire on 26th August, the event follows on from 2022's festival which saw Michael Schenker, Those Damn Crowes and more thrill at the Sold-Out event.

Hot off the heels of the biggest North American stadium tour of 2022 with more than 1.3 million tickets sold, the world’s most iconic and celebrated rock legends Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe are going global in 2023 with their co-headline ‘The World Tour’!  Wax on Water are Maya Damaris and Steven Blessing - an Alternative Rock duo from London, who have always taken a different path from the identikit rock groups that exist on the scene. Drawing inspiration from a range of genres – they boldly fuse elements from electronica, metal, grunge, goth and Industrial music and nowhere is this seen more intensely than in their fiendishly good new five track EP ‘Ghouls & Fiends and In-Betweens…’ which is released alongside the focus track and first single ‘Ghouls & Fiends’ on 14th October 2022.  Critically acclaimed award-winning Kiwi artist Reb Fountain brings her mesmerising live show to London’s Water Rats on 15th November for the first time, to support her latest album ‘Iris’, recently released on Vinyl, via Flying Nun. Bloodstock Open Air has added nine bands to its 2023 edition including Anthrax who've recently completed a U.K. tour, and Biohazard, who are reuniting their classic line-up for the occasion. Bloodstock 2023 will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 10th - 13th August 2023.  Anthrax celebrated four decades as thrash metal icons with a tour that made its way across the U.K. and stopped off in Bristol on Thursday night (6th October 2022). Iron Maiden will finally celebrate their 1986 opus 'Somewhere in Time', with the 'Future Past' tour in 2023. The overlooked album, a fan favourite will feature alongside tracks from 2021's 'Senjutsu' at dates in Dublin, London, and across Europe.  Black Sabbath's classic 1980 album 'Heaven and Hell', and its' follow-up, 1981's 'Mob Rules' will receive deluxe reissues on vinyl and CD on November 4th and November 18th 2022, respectively. Released via BMG, the original albums will be bolstered by a number of bonus tracks.  Live Nation and Penguin Random House announced a 14-city book tour in support of SURRENDER: 40 Songs, One Story, the forthcoming memoir by Bono—artist, activist and U2 lead singer - which will be released worldwide on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
