Download Festival has announced a plethora of extracurricular and extra spectacular rock n’ roll activities and entertainment for fans in The Download Village. Alongside the world’s biggest rock bands; including headliners Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool, fans will enjoy a stunning array of unique performances, experientials, stalls, food, drink and more at the three-day rock extravaganza.

Iron Maiden have added a second date in Chile to their Legacy of the Beast Tour, after selling out Santiago’s 63,000 capacity Estadio Nacional six and a half months in advance. The band has now confirmed a second night in Chile - their first ever show at the Movistar Arena - on Monday October 14th making them the first Anglo Artist to play both venues within the same visit.
Bloodstock Festival has added a further eight names to their bulging 2019 Bill. Joining headliners Sabaton, Parkway Drive and Scorpions, for the event that takes place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 8th - 11th August are Krysthla, All Hail The Yeti, Ten Tonne Slug and more.
Ramblin' Man Fair has added three more acts to its' bulging 2019 bill. Joining headliners The Darkness, Black Stone Cherry and Foreigner for the festival which takes place at Mote Park, Maidstone from 19th - 21st July, are The Temperance Movement, Ugly Kid Joe, and Everlast.
Deadland Ritual, bassist Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), vocalist Franky Perez (Apocalyptica, Scars on Broadway), drummer Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver) and guitarist Steve Stevens (Billy Idol) have added two further UK dates to their European tour in June 2019. The band will play in Glasgow and London, either side of their Download Festival appearance.
Bay Area thrashers Machine Head are reuniting three quarters of their original line to for a tour that will see the band perform their debut 'Burn My Eyes' in its entirety for the first time ever. Opening in Germany on 5th October, the tour concludes with a Brace of Irish dates in November.
The first bands for this years' Electric Picnic have been announced, with The Strokes, Florence And The Machine, Hozier, and The 1975 among the star attractions. Taking place at Stradbally, Co. Laois from 30th August - 1st September, Electric Picnic is Ireland's largest music and arts festival.
Bearded Theory’s Spring Gathering has confirmed the final line-up for 2019’s festival. Indie legends Suede, Sonic Temple rockers The Cult, and The E-Street Band's Stevie Van Zandt’s Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul head up the bill for the event which takes place between 23rd - 26th May.
Black Star Riders will release their fourth studio album in September 2019. Entitled ‘Another State of Grace’ the album was produced & mixed once again by Jay Ruston. The band will support the record with a full UK and Ireland tour in October 2019 with additional dates in other territories to be announced.
Aussie Pub rockers Airbourne and Outlaw Country star Jesse Dayton have been added to the bill of this years' Ramblin' Man Fair Festival. Taking place at Mote Park, Maidstone from 19th - 21st July 2019, the additions join headliners The Darkness, Black Stone Cherry and Foreigner.
