Reading & Leeds Festivals have added over 30 new artists and DJs to the roster. Biffy Clyro will be joining this year’s bill as headliner, returning to the festivals for their third headline performance. Inhaler, Russ Millions and Holly Humberstone will also play at the famous Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park sites this August bank holiday weekend (28-30 August).

They may have been fashionably late to their own party, but Steelhouse Festival’s 10th anniversary celebrations finally arrived this past weekend (Fri 23 – Sun 25 July, 2021), with Uriah Heep, The Darkness, Therapy? and more topping the bill for what was a joyous celebration. Taking place at Hafod-y-Dafal Farm in rural south Wales, this year’s event was fully sold out.

Their first in six years, the set will be released on 3rd September 2021. It was recorded in Paris with longstanding producer Kevin Shirley and co-produced by Steve Harris.

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Rory Gallagher's eponymous 1971 debut solo album, UMC/UMe will release a five-disc deluxe box set of the album. Rory Gallagher 50th Anniversary Edition will include a brand-new mix of the original album, 30 previously unreleased outtakes and alternate takes, a six-song 1971 BBC Radio John Peel Sunday Concert, plus four 1971 BBC Radio Sounds of the Seventies session tracks, all mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen has looked back on the band’s early years, commenting that the nascent band were “full of beans”, in a brand new interview with eonmusic. The drummer made his comments while promoting his recent in-person art shows at Atlantic City, and King of Prussia.
