A host of acts including Marilyn Manson, Bullet For My Valentine and Ice T's Body Count have been added to the line-up for this years' Download Festival. The latest batch of eighteen acts join headliners Ozzy Osbourne, Guns 'n' Roses and Avenged Sevenfold at the event, which  takes place from 8th - 10th June 2018 at Donington Park, Leicestershire.

Queens Of The Stone Age have ended their current run dates in Dublin, with a visibly elated Josh Homme proclaiming “I cannot think of a better city in the fucking world to end it in”. The band’s show at the city’s 3Arena on Friday night (24th November 2017) came as they wrapped up their 'Villains' European tour.

Europe guitarist John Norum joined Deep Purple on stage on Thursday night (23rd November 2017) at the O2 arena in London, for a run through the classic ‘Smoke On The Water’. Bolstering Deep Purple’s line-up to a two guitar band, Norum’s unannounced addition came on the final night of both bands’ joint UK run.

Vivian Campbell took top billing at the Northern Ireland Music Prize On Saturday night (11th November 2017), being named the ‘Oh Yeah Legend’. The Belfast-born guitarist was on hand to accept the gong at the event which was held at the city's Mandela Hall,  as well as perform with his band Last In Line.
