Ramblin' Man Fair has added Lynyrd Skynyrd as their Saturday Night headliner, joining the already announced Clutch at the top of the 2020 bill.  Returning for a sixth year to Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent, this years' event takes place on the 17th, 18th and 19th July.  Also added are Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters, who headline the Outlaw Country stage on 18th July.

Ramblin’ Man Fair 2020 follows on from 2019's critically acclaimed fifth year, which had Foreigner fill the night with jukebox classics, 2018, which saw The Cult, Steel Panther & Mott The Hoople ramble on, and 2017, which witnessed Extreme, ZZ Top, and Saxon put on a show fit for a king.

Lynyrd Skynyrd (Headliner, Planet Rock Mainstage, Saturday 18thJuly) - The term legends is oft overused, but for Lynyrd Skynyrd there is no more accurate description. One of the giants of global rock music, the band formed in 1964 and have sold over 28 million albums worldwide. Albums such as “Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd” (1974), “Second Helping” (1975) and “Street Survivors” (1977) and huge powerhouse hits such as “Freebird” and “Sweet Home Alabama” make the band one of the best loved rock acts of all time. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine included Lynyrd Skynyrd in the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time". The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.

In January 2018 the band announced their farewell tour and this show is part of that ongoing tour. Ramblin’ Man Fair is the bands only UK show of 2020 and is sure to be a legendary show from one of the true greats.

Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters (Headliner Outlaw Stage, Saturday 18th July) - What began as an overdub session on his 4th solo album “Beautiful Door”, Billy Bob Thornton and J.D. Andrew are now entering their 14th year as The Boxmasters.  They have released 8 albums, toured the United States and Canada repeatedly and are bringing their Sixties-influenced Rock ’n Roll to the UK and Europe for the first time.

The Boxmasters current album “Speck” found the band collaborating with legendary Engineer/Producer
Geoff Emerick (The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello) for an album that Geoff has called, “One of the
most exciting projects I’ve worked on since The Beatles”. Sadly, before Speck was formally released, Geoff
passed away. As a touring band, The Boxmasters have cultivated a rabid cult fanbase across the United States and Canada opening for the likes of ZZ Top, Steve Miller, George Thorogood and Kid Rock.

Ramblin Man Fair 2020 are delighted to welcome a genuine original to the festival in 2020. Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters headline set on the Outlaw Stage is sure to be one of the UK festival events of the year.
