The annual winter NAMM Show has taken place in Anaheim, California, with Slash, Steve Vai, Kenny Loggins, Billy Gibbons, Robby Krieger and more all turning out for the world's largest music expo. The yearly showcase for the worldwide music industry, the 2020 event took place from 15th – 18th January.  Ides of March, the specially formed band featuring Paul Di'Anno along with early Maiden members have announced a fifth former Iron Maiden member will take part in their headlining Beermageddon performance on Sunday 30th August in Bromsgrove, England. Black Sabbath together with BMG and Pitchblack Playback have confirmed two commemorative 50th Anniversary album listening sessions for their debut self-titled album ‘Black Sabbath’. Limerick's electronic arts festival LEAF has set 10th to 13th September 2020 as the dates for it's inaugural outing. This ambitious departure for the southern Irish city will see leaders of the technological world join forces with pioneers of electronic music to entertain the masses at this brand-new festival.  Electric Picnic, Ireland's largest music and arts festival, has launched its' 2020 'Art Caravan' competition. Taking place from 5th - 6th September in Stradbally, Co. January's Metal Hall of Fame event, which took place in Anaheim, California on 15th January 2020, is set for an airing via Amazon Prime Movies, later this year.
