Who’s Touring in 2019? It’s time to get Hyped.

A new year is upon us, and that means new ways to rock out. The big festivals like Download and Rock am Ring are a good few months away, but luckily there are numerous huge acts touring in the meantime. Unfortunately, though, for some bands, it could be the last time they are ever seen on stage. So who are we getting hyped about for the year ahead?

A new year is upon us, and that means new ways to rock out. The big festivals like Download and Rock am Ring are a good few months away, but luckily there are numerous huge acts touring in the meantime. Unfortunately, though, for some bands, it could be the last time they are ever seen on stage. So who are we getting hyped about for the year ahead?

Ozzy Osbourne

Ozzy Osbourne is one of metal’s biggest giants, and the Prince of Darkness has sold over 100 million albums over the years with his solo work and Black Sabbath combined. The 70-year-old appears set to retire, though, and is currently on his No More Tours II tour. This began in 2018, when Ozzy headlined some big festivals including Download. We’re still looking forward to seeing him again this year, however, as the tour continues into mid-2019. It’s amazing to see the legendary rocker still going strong at such a late age. Research has shown that music can improve your health, so this could be the reason. Listening to music can reduce high blood pressure, help prevent back pain, and even improve athletic performance.

Kiss
Kiss has been touring for some time now, but this could soon be coming to an end. In fact, 2019 may be the last chance that some people get to see the iconic face-painted rockers. The End of the Road farewell tour was announced in October 2018, and so far, two North American legs have been scheduled for the first few months of this year. The band featuring Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer has been around since 1973 and is one of the most successful in rock history. They have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, including 25 million RIAA-certified albums. Seeing Kiss live at least once is essential for rock fans, but there may not be many more opportunities.  

Aerosmith
“America’s Greatest Rock and Roll Band” Aerosmith have been rocking stages since 1970, and are still going strong. This year, in anticipation for their 50th anniversary, they have some special events planned. The band led by Steven Tyler has booked a 16-date residency at the Park Theater in the Park MGM Hotel from early April to early July. The event is named after Deuces are Wild, and will feature never-before-seen visuals and soundscapes. This is going to be a special concert that fans of the long-running rockers will not want to miss. The Bad Boys from Boston are renowned for their exceptional live performances, and are another band on many people’s bucket list.

These three awesome acts have barely scratched the surface of what’s to come this year. Whitesnake, the Rolling Stones, and Slayer have all also announced major tours. It’s definitely time to get hyped up.
