Slayer Unveil New Video For 'You Against You'.

Big Four pioneers Slayer have unveiled the new video for latest release 'You Against You'. A violent and visceral prequel to their hugely popular gore-filled 'Repentless' clip, the video can be viewed below.

Demonic Big Four pioneers Slayer have unveiled the new video for latest release 'You Against You'. A violent and visceral prequel to their hugely popular gore-filled 'Repentless' clip that has to date racked up over 7.5 million views on YouTube, the video can be viewed below. 

In time honoured Slayer-esque fashion, from the very first frame of 'You Against You' and with vocalist Tom Araya's scream of; "your perfect world is ending this day, so what? I wouldn't have it any other way", the gore, the violence, the projectile-blood-spewing and carnage begins, and just never ends. 

As with 'Repentless,' which was shot in an L.A. prison, 'You Against You' was directed by BJ McDonnell, and stars Jason Trost (Hatchet III) as the eye-patched rebel inmate, Wyatt. The video tells the story of the circumstances that led to Wyatt's erroneous arrest and imprisonment, as featured in 'Repentless'. 

Says a typically upbeat Araya of the video; "after the 'Repentless' video, BJ delivers again with 'You Against You.'  Fucking awesome!!!!"

Taken from the band's twelfth studio release - 2015's 'Repentless', which saw the Californian's reach new career heights in various charting territories, Slayer's performance of 'You Against You' was shot in California's Mojave desert earlier this year, in a graveyard of jets, airliners, and helicopters.

Currently on a lengthy North American jaunt, the band will make a return to Irish and U.K. shores this Summer. Headlining the the Sunday night of this year's Bloodstock Open Air Festivalin the U.K. in August, Slayer will also play a brace of Irish dates; with a show at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on 14 June, and an appearance at Live At The Marquee, Cork, a day later on 15 June. In a treat for fans of heavy music, New York thrashers Anthrax will be special guests on the bill.
