Legendary blues rock guitarist and singer-songwriter, Robin Trower has confirmed details of a thirteen date October U.K. Tour. Kicking off in Norwich at The Waterfront on 30th September, the jaunt will see the bluesman take in dates in - among other cities - Manchester, Glasgow and London, before finishing up in Brighton at the Concorde 2 on 19th October.
The guitarist who is best known for his 1974 milestone album 'Bridge Of Sighs', will be joined by respected exponent of modern blues Stevie Nimmo, who will be special guest at all shows.
The announcement of the October tour follows news of Robin’s highly anticipated new studio album 'Where You Are Going To'. Due for release in the U.K. by Manhaton Records on Friday 6th May 2016, the disc sees Trower tackle subjects such as current events, as well as reflecting on his extraordinary career which started out in the early 1960s'.
Says Robin; “The album ranges from rock to funky soul with some epic blues grooves. Album opener 'When Will The Next Blow Fall' is a bit of a rocker inspired by the events in Europe and how uncertain people’s futures are. The title track 'Where You Are Going' To is me reflecting on my life and career and how we have no idea how our lives might unfold.”
Tickets for all shows are available now priced £25 from this link, and from the 24 hour box office on 0844 478 0898.
