Ricky Warwick & The Fighting Hearts are to hit the road for a U.K. Tour in November and December. Featuring Black Star Riders colleague Robbie Crane on bass along with guitarist Mark Gemini Thwaite and drummer Gary Sullivan, the dates follow on from the band's debut tour opening for the legendary Stiff Little Fingers in early 2016.

Current Black Star Riders and Thin Lizzy front man Ricky Warwick and his band The Fighting Hearts are to hit the road for a U.K. Tour in November and December. Featuring Black Star Riders colleague Robbie Crane on bass along with guitarist Mark Gemini Thwaite and drummer Gary Sullivan, the dates follow on from the band's debut tour opening for the legendary Stiff Little Fingers in early 2016.
Taking to the road for their first ever headline tour, the dates are in support of Ricky’s two solo albums - 'When Patsy Cline Was Crazy (And Guy Mitchell Sang The Blues)' and 'Hearts on Trees' which were released in February via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
For the majority of the tour Ricky & The Fighting Hearts will be joined by legendary punk band Vice Squad, who feature lead singer Beki Bondage.
Comments Ricky: "We can't wait to get back out there and play a full length set and I am delighted that my old friends Vice Squad will be special guests, I've been a fan of Beki and the boys since their debut album 'No Cause For Concern'. It's gonna be a helluva of an evening".
The shows come as Black Star Riders enjoy some down time following an extended bout of touring in support of 2015's 'The Killer Instinct'. Speaking to eonmusic in December 2015, Black Star Riders' guitarist Damon Johnson - who has just released his own 'Echo' solo project - said of plans for a follow up: "We’ve already got ideas bouncing around, and Ricky and I are booking some time to get together just to have some undistracted focus time".
Thin Lizzy meanwhile, whom also feature Johnson, are due to play a few dates this summer in recognition of the thirty year anniversary of band leader Phil Lynnot's passing, and forty years since the release of the seminal 'Jailbreak' album. The band will be making a stop off at Ramblin' Man Fair in Kent, on 23rd July, as well as playing select dates in both the continent and the U.S.
