Swedish progressive metal outfit Opeth have unveiled the video for brand new song 'Sorceress'. The title track from their forthcoming twelfth studio album, the flick comes ahead of the disc's 30th September release. The video can be viewed below.

Comments Opeth front man Mikael Åkerfeldt, “Here you go kids!  Here’s the title track, 'Sorceress,' combined with the now obligatory lyric video.  Why not eh?  We’re happy with the tune.  It’s heavy, a bit 'meat and potato,' but what the hell…we love it!  Hope you do too!”

'Sorceress' is available for pre-order from both the official Nuclear Blast and Opeth stores, in an array of formats & limited editions including a standard CD, 2CD Digipak, 2LP vinyl (in various colours at 180 gram) and a Deluxe Edition Wooden Box Set. Digital pre-orders are also now available, from iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.

The Winery Dogs' Mike Portnoy meanwhile, has recently expressed his desire to one day work with Åkerfeldt. The drummer recently told eonmusic: "I’ve been able to have all these dream collaborations, but I would say the one outstanding one would be Michael Åkerfeldt form Opeth. He and I are really good friends and for so many years, and we’ve talked about doing something together, so I still would love to".

Opeth are due to play their biggest ever U.K. show this winter, with a date at London's Wembley set for Saturday 19th November. Tickets for the show are on sale now from Live Nation and Ticketmaster.
