Following on from the critically acclaimed and commercially successful fifth year in 2019 that saw Foreigner close the fest with a night of jukebox classics, Ramblin’ Man Fair returns in 2020! This year the festival will take place on the 17th, 18th and 19th July, with Hawkwind set to headline the Grooverider Stage, and a host of other acts announced today.

Having already announced the full Prog In The Park Stage lineup of Big Big Train, Curved Air, Pure Reason Revolution, Moon Safar, Lazuli and Blurred Vision, Ramblin’ Man Fair are delighted to announce the next bands for what is shaping up to be an incredible 2020.

The bands announced today are Monster Truck who will be this year’s main stage special guests on Friday 17th July, and on Sunday 19th July headliners  Hawkwind along with Vintage Caravan, The New Death Cult, Crown Lands.

Hawkwind are set to play a special 50th Anniversary Show. Formed in 1969, the space rockers have undergone a variety of line-ups and straddled multiple genres, and gone on to become one of the most influential British groups of all time. They have inspired bands such as Monster Magnet, Kyuss, My Bloody Valentine, Sex Pistols, Jello Biafra and many more - famously, the band also introduced the music world to Lemmy Kilminster who has gone on to say “In Hawkwind I became a good bass player. It was where I learned I was good at something.”

Iconic records ‘In Search of Space’, ‘Doremi Fasol Latido’, ‘Space Ritual’, ‘In the Hall of the Mountain Grill’, and ‘Strangeness and Charm’ are now timeless pieces of psychedelic heaviosity that have propelled Hawkwind into the charts across the world.

Monster Truck are one of the best loved new rock acts. The Canadian four piece, formed in 2009, and have become a highlight of live stages across the years, with their greasy rock and roll igniting Dublin in 2017 with their perfect blend of riffs and rock n roll. The bands last studio album, “True Rockers”, was released in late 2018 and featured an awesome cameo from Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider on lead single “True Rocker”.

Ramblin’ Man Fair is the must see event for discerning festival goers. A quality musical line up with a number of UK exclusive performances. The 2020 event follows on from 2018's happening, which saw The Cult, Steel Panther & Mott The Hoople ramble on, and 2017, which saw Extreme, ZZ Top, and Saxon put on a show fit for a king.

Ramblin’ Man Fair will take place in the beautiful Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent; the garden of England. The park is one of the largest in South East England with more than 450 acres of mature parkland and a 30-acre lake. With multiple travel links via train (Ashford International, Maidstone East and Maidstone West in close proximity) and road (with three park and rides available around Maidstone). The festival site is also perfect for European festival goers with easy links to the London airports, Eurostar via Ashford Int’l and Channel Ferries to and from mainland Europe.
