Meshuggah Announce U.K. And Ireland Dates As '25 Years Of Musical Deviance' Set Due.

Extreme tech-metal messiah's Meshuggah have announced a string of U.K. and Ireland dates in support of their forthcoming career-spanning '25 Years Of Musical Deviance' Set. The band will play Belfast, Dublin and across the U.K. in January 2017, in support of the collection which is due for release on 29th July 2016.

Extreme technical-metal messiah's Meshuggah have announced a string of U.K. and Ireland dates in support of their forthcoming career-spanning '25 Years Of Musical Deviance' Set. The band will play Belfast's Limelight on 17th January,  and Dublin's Academy on 18th January,  as well as a string of shows across the U.K. at the beginning of 2017. The full list of dates, which can be viewed below, come in support of the new collection which is due for release on 29th July 2016. ​

The ninth wonder of the unnatural world, the dates follow on from a previously announced extensive European tour that will see the Swedish pioneers play all over the continent, following the imminent release of their anticipated as-yet-untitled new album, which is expected Autumn 2016.

The retrospective '25 Years Of Musical Deviance' meanwhile, is due for release via Nuclear Blast Entertainment this summer. An expansive heavyweight vinyl box set collection limited to 1,000 units worldwide, the set will be available exclusively via the Nuclear Blast Webshop, and is set to include;  

  • Outer case with 3D cover art
  • Slipmat with exclusive design
  • 100-page hardcover book with lyrics and previously unreleased photos
  • Blu-ray with all music videos and previously unreleased studio footage
  • 17 ultra clear, 180 gram 12-inch vinyl featuring brand new artwork.

  • Contradictions Collapse - double, 33 1/3rpm vinyl

Tickets for the UK & Irish dates go on sale 3rd June, while a promo video for the new set can be viewed below. ​
