Heavy Rockers Loinize have announced details of their latest EP. Due for release on 6th May 2016, 'The Voyage' comes among a flurry of activity that will see the four-piece appear at London's Desertfest, along with headline dates and a supporting role on Less That Jake's U.K. tour.

The release of 'The Voyage' is part of a wider project that sees the band celebrating their 10th anniversary with a renewed sense of purpose, taking the cue from their predecessors who made their own rules when it comes to recording and getting their music to their fans. After the first 4 singles were released in the autumn and winter of 2015, early 2016 will see a series of 4 EP’s released that lead up to the next full-length album from the band, tying everything together. Almost every month new material will be made available world wide and distributed directly from the band, physically and digitally.

Drawing on influences as varied as Bad Brains, Deep Purple, Parliament and Funkadelic, the band finds itself in new musical territory. From the infectious melodies of the opener 'Anacostia' and the huge tectonic riffs of 'Take It To The Road' to the classic groove-oriented 'Cold Nelson', this record presents a soundscape that will leave the fans chomping at the bit for the next instalment.

'The Voyage' Track List:
1.    Anacostia
2.    Take it to the Road
3.    Underwater
4.    Cold Nelson
5.    Ultimate Narc
6.    Sleeping Giants Groove

The band's U.K. tour meanwhile begins on 25th April, at the Corporation in Sheffield, and continues on into May, finishing with a headlining show in Limerick, Ireland in 14th. Tickets  for all headline dates are available now priced £9.00 from ticketweb. Tickets for Less Than Jake shows are available from the same address, priced £16.85 (booking fees may be applied).
