Bakersfield Nu Metal Linchpins Korn have released a video for new song 'Insane'. Directed by Ryan Valdez, the track is a taster for new album  'The Serenity of Suffering' which is due for release on 21st October. The clip, which can be viewed below, is a ghastly take on post-mortem photography or ‘momento mori,’ the practice of preserving loved ones after death with images.

'Insane' is available at all DSP’s today, and appears on Korn's twelfth studio album, 'The Serenity of Suffering'.  Produced by Nick Raskulinecz, whose previous credits include Black Star Riders, Foo Fighters, and Mastodon, the album features a special guest appearance from Corey Taylor of Slipknot on album track, 'A Different World'.  The disc is currently available for pre-order here.

'Insane' follows on from first single, 'Rotting In Vain', which has already been streamed two million times. The track's video - which has just under four million views - stars 'Sons of Anarchy' actor Tommy Flanagan together with Korn.

Korn are currently in the midst of their 'Return of the Dreads Tour,' co-headlining with Rob Zombie across U.S. amphitheatres through early September.  Starting on 24th, Korn then share co-headlining duties with Breaking Benjamin on the 'Nocturnal Underground' arena tour, featuring special guests Motionless In White and Silver Snakes.  The band is also set to appear at the Louder Than Life and Aftershock Festival in October.  Plans are also underway for U.K. dates in due course.
