Guitar slinger Kenny Wayne Shepherd is the latest act to join this years' Ramblin' Man Fair line-up. Headlining the Outlaw Country stage, the American player will bring his laid back licks along with headliners The Darkness, Black Stone Cherry and Foreigner to the festival which takes place at Mote Park, Maidstone from 19th - 21st July, 2019.

2019's Ramblin' Man follows on from the 2018 event, which saw The Cult, Steel Panther & Mott The Hoople ramble on, and 2017, which saw Extreme, ZZ Top, and Saxon put on a show fit for a king.

Shepherd's addition follows his appearance in 2017, where he told eonmusic; "I’m excited about it. It’s our first actual music festival in the UK, and I think it’s a really good one. There’s lots of good bands, and there’s several stages."

The Louisiana born axeman and songsmith has sold millions of albums while throwing singles into the Top 10, shining a light on the rich blues of the past and forging ahead with his own modern twist on a classic sound he has embodied since his teens.

Kenny Wayne joins already announced bands including recent additions Cheap Trick and Monster Magnet, rock legends Foreigner (Sunday’s Planet Rock Main Stage Headliner), Black Stone Cherry (Saturday’s Planet Rock Main Stage Headliner), American blues singer/songwriter Beth Hart (Blues Stage Headliner), Prog in the Park Headliner Anathema, The Darkness (Friday Planet Rock Main Stage Headliner), Airbourne (Saturday Main Stage Special Guest), The Wildhearts (Friday Main Stage Special Guest), Living Colour (Main Stage), Jesse Dayton (Outlaw Country Stage), Koyo (Prog in the Park Stage), The Temperance Movement (Main Stage), Ugly Kid Joe(Main Stage)and Everlast (Blues Stage),Orange Goblin (Grooverider Stage), Crobot (Grooverider Stage), Obsessed (Grooverider Stage), Robert Jon and The Wreck (Outlaw Stage) and Chris Robinson Brotherhood, as well as more prog acts including Swedish act Pain of Salvation and polish prog giants Riverside.
