Former Europe guitarist  Kee Marcello will play four U.K. shows in September prior to the release of his new solo album ’Scaling Up’. These include an intimate, sold out preview show in London at The Cavern in Raynes Park on 21st, followed by 22nd Bilston - The Robin 2, 23rd Glasgow - Audio, and 24th Cardiff - Fuel Rock Club.

Ahead of the activity, Kee has released a video previewing the tour, which can be seen below.

With his new album, ‘Scaling Up’, the Swedish musician is using his past as a springboard to take a giant leap into the future. With his new music firmly grounded in the songwriting tradition that made him a multi-platinum rock star in the first place, Kee explores the boundaries of melodic hard rock with contemporary performances and a cracking production.

Conceived and written in the winter of 2015 and spring of 2016, ‘Scaling Up’ encompasses all the
influences and genres in which Kee has been involved since the outset of his career.  Aside from the obvious resemblances to the classic sound of Europe (in particular the ‘Prisoners Of Paradise’ album, from which he took two original demos, ‘Wild Child’ and ‘Don’t Know How To Love’, re-recording them from scratch), he also nods to his past experience in Easy Action, resulting in a touch of sleaze and a more classic hard rock approach on songs such as ‘Fix Me’, ‘Blow By Blow’ and ‘Soldier Down’.

Kee Marcello is one of the most renowned Scandiavian musicians, with an amazing track record. He is best known as the guitarist in Europe from 1986 to 1992, a period when the group were one of the biggest rock bands in the world. They sold over 30 million albums, landed no 1’s on the sales charts of 26 countries and shared the biggest stages with the likes of Metallica, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi. Kee is now enjoying a new wave of success, both with his music and as a TV personality in his native Sweden.
