Jeff Lynne’s ELO have received rave reviews for the first few dates of the 'Alone In The Universe' tour. The Liverpool Echo said of the opening night; “Every single song was a highlight, each one driving the audience further into a euphoric stupor. Five stars *****”

The Guardian meanwhile called the iconic outfit's London O2 Arena performance;
 "nothing short of flawless”, while the Evening Standard called it; “Melody piled upon melody during upbeat stomps from  impeccable Jeff Lynne’s 13-strong band”

As with ELO’s previous chart-topping albums, Jeff Lynne continues to serve as ELO’s producer, songwriter, arranger, lead singer and guitarist. ‘Alone In The Universe’ has wowed the critics with Mojo giving the album 4*, Classic Rock saying the album is ‘well worth the wait’ in their 9/10 review, Q saying it is ‘just about perfect’ in their 4* review and Uncut calling him a ‘seasoned’ master in their glowing 8/10 review.

With a distinct style that seamlessly and innovatively blends rock, pop and classical, ELO has had twenty six UK Top 40 singles, making Lynne's sweeping productions some of the most recognisable music of the last forty years and helping sell over 50 million records worldwide. Widely agreed upon as one of the greatest record producers in music history, Lynne was a co-founder and member of The Travelling Wilburys together with Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison and Tom Petty as well as a producer and collaborator with some of the biggest names in music including The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, and most recently, Bryan Adams.
