Following on from their first ever UK appearance in 2016 for a one-off show at London's Islington Academy, The Iron Maidens - The World's Number One All Female Iron Maiden Tribute Band - have announced a run of dates across the UK for October 2017.
The California band who have steadily been gaining plaudits since forming in 2001, will play five dates, with shows in Cardiff, Reading, Laamington Spa, Sheffield and London. The full list of dates, with links to ticketing details can be viewed below.
Says front woman Kirsten Chickinson; "Having played the UK last year - and even getting to meet some of the original members of Iron Maiden - was a dream come true. So returning to Iron Maiden Holy Land to play even more UK dates really takes the biscuit! I can't say I'll have my pilot's license in time to fly us over but maybe they'll let me drive the lorry between shows!".
Speaking about the enthusiastic fan reception of their 2016 show, drummer Linda McDonald says; "Playing our very first show in London last year was an energetic kick in the butt! Some of the audience travelled from quite far, we understand, to make this one special show. They were absolutely AMAZING! It took us fifteen years to finally get here and we are SO glad to announce our return with five shows this time!"
During their sixteen year tenure, The Iron Maidens have been joined on stage by the likes of Alex Skolnik from Testament, Lemmy, Megadeth’s Dave Ellefson, Anthrax’s Scott Ian and Judas Priest’s Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens. They've also opened shows for Danzig, Cypress Hill, Snoop Dogg, Nightwish and Nevermore amongst others.
