American metalcore outfit In This Moment have released a video for new single 'The Fighter'. Taken from latest album, 'Black Widow', the promo release comes a head of next month's U.K. tour, which begins in London on 25th May.
The video for 'The Fighter', which can be viewed below, was directed by photographer Jeremy Saffer, along with lead singer Maria Brink, and features Brink delivering the very personal song directly to the camera.
Speaking about the video, Brink said; "I'm really excited for everyone to see ‘The Fighter’ music video. I decided to do a stripped down, intimate video to go with the nature and the meaning of the song. I wanted to show everybody a more vulnerable side of myself and take out all the bells and whistles".
Expanding on the meaning behind the track, the vocalist said; "this song is about rising to our fullest power and overcoming tragedy. I hope everybody enjoys it and special thanks to Jeremy Saffer for collaborating with me on this."
In This Moment return to the U.K. in May for four shows, starting in London at the Forum on 25th May, and finishing up at Glasgow's Academy on 28th May. The band then return to the U.S. to embark on Summer touring supporting Korn and Rob Zombie on their 'Return of the Dreads' co-headline tour. Tickets for all U.K. dates are on sale now from livenation.
