French technical death metallers Gojira and Swedish marauders Amon Amarth have joined the live line up this years' Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards, which takes place at London's Hammersmith Apollo on Monday 13th June. The pair join the previously announced 'A Salute to Lemmy' featuring Saxon and remaining Motörhead members guitarist Phil Campbell and drummer Mikkey Dee in paying tribute to fallen band leader Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister, who passed away in December 2015.

Rising hollywood sensations Halestorm are also set to deliver a set on the night while holding the whole show together will be Hatebreed front man Jamey Jasta, who is set to host the event.  Currently on tour in America, Jasta is one of the most charismatic and engaging front men in the business, and is the perfect person to keep the Golden Gods’ mosh pit in check.

Taking place at the Eventim Apollo, headlining the ceremony will be A Salute To Lemmy will see a celebration of the life of one of rock's most inspirational icons, with Saxon and the Motörhead boys playing a set of classic songs from both bands.

Gojira are one of the most exciting and innovative bands in metal. Set to release their much-anticipated sixth album, ‘Magma’, on 17th June, the follow-up to 2012’s critically acclaimed ‘L'Enfant Sauvage’ proves that they continue to pushed the boundaries and challenge their listeners with genre-defying music. The band's sound develops with each album and their live shows are among the most captivating in the world. They start a world tour at the end of May that will take them through Europe, the US and Canada.

Amon Amarth released their 10th album, ‘Jomsviking’, in March of this year to resounding acclaim. Their first concept album, it allows the band to demonstrate the full dynamic force of their music, and shows why they are one of the world’s leading heavy metal bands. A live powerhouse, they are currently touring the US, and will be going on to conquer Europe in June and July. Live, Amon Amarth are like nothing else; their intensity is immense and unwavering, delivered with a power like no others.

Says Alexander Milas, Editor-in-Chief of Metal Hammer Magazine of the latest additions: "This isn't a bill for the faint-of-heart. From the goblet-hoisting, festival-headlining might of Amon Amarth to the peerless innovative brilliance of our latest cover stars Gojira, this is going to be a fire breathing monster of a party. Nothing but the best for the people who've supported Metal Hammer in all its forms for all these years. Horns up!"
