Glenn Hughes has announced details of new album 'Resonate', along with an extensive run of U.K. and European dates to support it. Due for release on 4th November via Frontiers Music, the disc is the ex-Deep Purple man's first solo release in  eight years. The tour will see the former Black Sabbath singer team up with special guests Living Colour, for a run which kicks off on Tuesday 8th November. The full list of dates can be viewed listed below.

A true vocal and musical icon of our times, in the past couple of years Glenn concentrated again on his solo career, with non-stop touring throughout 2015 with shows in South America, Europe, UK, Japan and Singapore.  In addition, late in 2015, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced that Deep Purple including MKIII which famously featured Hughes along with future Whitesnake singer David Coverdale, were finally to be inducted after several previous nominations over the years.  This was a culmination of a four decade plus years career which saw Glenn leave his indelible mark in several musical endeavours and bands, including Trapeze, Deep Purple, Hughes/Thrall, and most recently Black Country Communion and California Breed.

Readying himself for his busiest year yet, Resonate has been hailed as a triumphant return to form for The Voice of Rock; from album opener, 'Heavy', to the very last chords of the closer, 'Long Time Gone'.  The new album  features his live solo band members; guitarist Soren Andersen, drummer Pontus Engborg,  and newcomer Lachy Doley (keyboards), in addition to long-time friend and drummer, Chad Smith  (Red Hot Chili Peppers), who joined them in the studio for the opening and closing numbers.

The new album will be available in two configurations: regular CD and Deluxe Edition including one bonus track and DVD. Vinyl release will be made available via the Frontiers’ label partners Soulfood Music.  The Deluxe Edition includes the bonus track “Nothing’s The Same”, plus a bonus DVD disc featuring the “Making of” the album documentary – “Heavy” (song video), and “Long Time Gone” (song video).
