Legendary pioneers of industrial-tinged extreme metal Fear Factory have announced they will be playing an intimate Bloodstock warm-up show at the Concorde 2, Brighton on 12th August.

The performance will precede their highly anticipated appearance at the renowned Bloodstock Open Air Festival on 13th August, where they will be playing the main stage alongside the likes of Gojira, Anthrax and Paradise Lost. Taking place in Catton Park, Derbyshire from 11 - 14 August 2016, Fear Factory will be joining the event which this year is being headlined by Twisted Sister, Slayer, and Mastodon.

Tickets for Fear Factory's intimate Brighton show are available now from this link.

Fear Factory are still celebrating the release of critically acclaimed 9th studio album, ‘Genexus’, which was released in August 2015 via Nuclear Blast. The record was produced by vocalist Burton C. Bell and guitarist Dino Cazares, and co-produced by Rhys Fulber, with mixing handled by famed British producer and engineer Andy Sneap whose previous credits include Megadeth, Testament, Exodus, and Machine Head.

'Genexus' is the sound of Fear Factory in-extremis, the concrete-breaking staccato riffs that open the record with 'Autonomous Combat System' to the soaring melodies of 'Dielectric' to the album’s elegiacal closer, 'Expiration Date.' It is an unforgiving and unforgettable statement from a band that has long pushed the boundaries of extreme music.

Bloodstock meanwhile, is now in its twelfth year as an outdoor event, and is one of the U.K.'s most popular metal events. Acts also set to appear over the weekend include NWOBHM heroes Diamond Head, reformed four-piece Corrosion of Conformity,  and power metallers Dragonforce.

Weekend tickets for Bloodstock Open Air 2016 with camping, plus various VIP packages are available now  priced from £139 (+ booking fee). For more information visit the official Bloodstock site.
