A further twenty acts have been added to the line up of this years' Electric Picnic festival. Taking place in Stradbally, Co. Laios from 1 - 3 September 2017, the latest additions join headliners The XX, A Tribe Called Quest, and Duran Duran at Ireland's largest music and arts gathering.

Heading up the list is Mercury Prize winners Elbow. Fresh from the release of latest album 'Little Fictions', Guy Garvey and the lads will be aiming to build a rocket for Stradbally, as they prepare to repeat the succes of their last Electric Picnic performance, in 2012.

Songstress Birdy, whose 'Beautiful Lies' release saw her gain a top five Irish album, will be looking forward to flying to the festival site, where her docile tones will be sure to warm the Electric Picnic attendees.

Elsewhere, 2015 Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent winner Brendan McKenna, British house DJ Hannah Wants, Manchester indie rockers Everything Everything and alt-duo Little Hours prop up the bill. A complete list of the latest additions can be viewed below.

Electric Picnic is now completely sold out (subject to licence), and with just seventy days left before the gates of the Stradbally Estate swing open for the thirteenth successive year, 2017's bill is almost complete. Also due to perform over the weekend are disco diva Chaka Khan, respected electro-rock band Soulwax, and  Ivor Novello Award winners London Grammar.

First taking place in 2004, Electric Picnic has grown to become the largest event of its kind in Ireland. Regularly selling out in advance, attendees come to enjoy myriad attractions; from Body and Soul to the retro 90s’ Power Party, in the arena’s multi–platform staging.
