Dream Theater Belfast Date & UK Tour Nears.

Recent Grammy Award winners Dream Theater are due in Belfast next week, for their first ever Northern Ireland date. The show, taking place on Wednesday 20th April 2022 at the SSE Arena forms part of a wider UK tour that also takes in dates in Newcastle, and London.

The UK leg includes:
Wed 20th Apr - BELFAST SSE Arena
Thu 21st Apr - NEWCASTLE Utilita Arena
Sat 23rd Apr - LONDON SSE Arena Wembley

Dream Theater recently shared the rescheduled dates for their Top Of The World Tour of North America. Those dates will now kick off next week in Arizona on February 2nd and run 7 weeks before ending in Texas on March 21st. This tour will mark the first live performances of music from the band’s latest release A View From The Top Of The World. Arch Echo will be the opener on all dates in the United States and Falset will be the opener on all of the dates in Canada. Label-mates Devin Townsend join the band for the mainland European dates, which conclude June 1st in Turkey.

Dream Theater recently celebrated the announcement of their third GRAMMY nomination for the song “The Alien.” The song is the album opener of A View From The Top Of The World and was nominated in the Best Metal Performance category and the category video can be seen here: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CWoJ4UYg3nX/. The win follows their two previous nominations: one in 2013 in the Best Metal Performance category for “The Enemy Inside” and one in 2011 in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for “On The Backs Of Angels.” 
 
Dream Theater’s A View From The Top Of The World was released to worldwide acclaim on October 22nd. The album shot to #1 on the iTunes Store Top Albums Metal chart, #1 on the Top Rock Albums and even reached #4 on All Genres iTunes Top Albums on release day. The new release hit #2 on the Amazon Best Sellers in Rock (CD format) only to be topped by The Beatles reissue of Let It Be. The band recently released an in-depth, 3-part docuseries hosted by ProgReport's Roie Avin about the making of A View From The Top Of The World. Click through to watch Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
