This years' Download Festival just got bigger, with twelve more acts have added to the already bulging bill. Taking place between 10 - 12 June, reformed dynamos Juliette and the Licks, Brit metal heroes Raging Speedhorn, and rising stars The Amorettes and more will take to the stage at the Midlands' metal event along with previously announced headliners Rammstein, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden.

The dozen additions join the impressive roster which includes nu metal linchpins Deftones, and Korn, big four legends Megadeth, symphonic Fins Nightwish and art rock heroes Jane's Addiction. With over one hundred acts expected to play across four stages, the weekend happening is the highlight of the summer festival season for fans of hard and fast music.

The full list of acts announced also includes the following;  All Time Low, From Ashes To New , Wearing Scars, The Wild Lies (who feature Iron Maiden's son Dylan on bass guitar), The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing, Skinny Lister, RavenEye, Puppy and In Search Of Sun.

Now in its fourteenth year, Download is the biggest event of its kind in the U.K. Last year's Download was headlined by freak show maestros Slipknot, sci-fi rockers Muse, and 'hottest band in the world Kiss.

Speaking exclusively to eonmusic via gigsandfestivals at the Golden Gods Awards last year, Kiss' Gene Simmons said of their spectacular prop and pyro filled Download appearance; "you saw those lifts at the end and the fireworks; we spent a million bucks just bringing that stuff to give the fans more. Everything costs a fortune, but we always make sure we give the fans the best show we can.”
