Horror Metallers Bloody Hammers have announced details of their new album 'Lovely Sort Of Death'. The duo, who released one of 2014's finest underground releases in 'Under Satan's Sun' will unleash the new set on 5th August 2016 via Napalm Records.

The album will be released in  limited four page Digipack (limited to 300 copies worldwide), deluxe edition with bonus CD, and single gatefold LP edition, both limited to only 200 copies worldwide.  The artwork and tracklisting can be viewed below.

Consisting of vocalist / instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Anders Manga along with the with contributions on keys from the suitably mono-monikered Devallia, the spooky duo hail, appropriatly from Transylvania County, North Carolina.

Says Anders of Lovely Sort Of Death: “This album is certainly the darkest album I've ever recorded. I wrote the songs over the winter, which was an unusually snowy one. We live high on a mountain with a steep treacherous driveway so when any snowfall happens, we're stuck for days. Luckily, as a result of all the isolation, my songwriting mood ended up much more on the darker side than previous records. The songs are heavy, but not always heavy. I wanted to create more atmosphere than before. It's a stylistically varied record which I'm very proud of. I used the Moog more on this album which blends well with the heavy guitar fuzz tones. It's definitely my favorite album so far in every way.”

Starting out as a studio project and releasing their self-titled debut independently, Bloody Hammers were approached by one of Europe's largest rock and metal labels, Napalm Records, who in 2014 put out 'Under Satan's Sun'. In support, the band embarked on a European tour, ending at U.K.'s largest rock festival, 'Download' to a great reception.

Through the snowy winter of 2015, Anders began writing again, but this time took a much darker and atmospheric direction. For the first time he added thick Moog sounds along with his normal fuzzed-out guitar, with more atmospheric keys provided by Devallia. They emerged from the winter with 'Lovely Sort of Death', their darkest album yet.
