Bloodstock organisers have added a further seven bands to the line-up, as well as unveiling details of the popular regional 'club nights' in the run up to the event. Taking place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 10 - 13 August, this year's BOA features headliners Megadeth and Amon Amarth.

Joining the bill, anthemic black metallers Winterfylleth will be playing on the main stage.  Joining them on the neighbouring Sophie Lancaster stage are classic metal act  Dendera, doomsters Kroh, the charmingly-named Abhorrent Decimation and experimental metal squad, Bossk. Also being welcomed are doompop outfit Courtesans and Brit crew Wretched Soul.

Meanwhile, Bloodstock club nights begin on 7th April. The popular get togethers take place all across the UK and Ireland, and a full list of current events can be viewed below, with more expected to be added for June and July. The club nights feature tunes from Bloodstock bands old and new, plus the chance to win weekend tickets and related giveaways.  Previous years' events have featured the likes of bucking broncos, endurance tests, and air guitar competitions.

The latest additions to the 2017 line-up join the likes of Blind Guardian, Hatebreed, Testament, Obituary, Brujeria,  Skindred, Possessed, Annihilator, Municipal Waste, Hell, Decapitated who are all set to appear over the weekend. The full line-up so far can be viewed on the poster below.

Bloodstock will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 10th-13th August 2017.  Early bird weekend tickets with camping are available now, priced from £120 (+ booking fee) .  Children’s weekend tickets are also available, priced £35 (+ booking fee), with and under 4’s going free. Camper van pitches have now sold out.
