Fleshing out the bill on the Sophie Lancaster stage are a further seven bands. Joining on Friday will be Norwich thrashers Shrapnel, Leicester metal five-piece Internal Conflict, Yorkshire’s stoner blues squad Ironrat, and London extremists, Corpsing, who feature members of Akercocke and Aghast.  Bringing their critically acclaimed noises on Saturday are heavy prog beasts OHHMS, and rounding out Sunday’s line up are British/Chilean thrash/death outfit, Criminal and purveyors of mammoth metal grooves Gravil.

With phase two of the annual ‘Metal 2 The Masses’ talent competition completed, winners of the regional heats have all landed a slot on the Hobgoblin New Blood stage.  On Friday, fans of Lamb of God, Fear Factory, and Whitechapel should be sure to catch Carlisle champions, Seek Solace In Ruin, while if Sylosis, Trivium, and Children of Bodom are more your thing, look out for Saltash heroes Mantra.  Also celebrating on Friday, are Leicester victors Bloodbath and Wolverhampton top dogs Ashen Crown.
