Day tickets to this years' Bloodstock Open Air have been released. Taking place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 11 - 14 August 2016, ticket prices have been frozen for the forth year in a row at £60 (+ booking fee), and are available now from  this location.

This year's event is being headed up by New York legends Twisted Sister, who headline the Friday night (12th August), angels of death Slayer, who will be reigning on Saturday (13th August), and behemoths Mastodon, who bring the festival to a close on Sunday night (14th August).

In the run up to the event, organisers have a lunched a YouTube competition to win tickets, goodie bags and more. For a chance to win, entrants should subscribe to the official Bloodstock YouTube Channel, have a look through the channel's videos, and publicly share their favourite clip to a network of choice; Facebook, Twitter or Google+. Subscribers to Bloodstock's Channel simply need to pick and share, while those sharing on Facebook need to ensure that they set the post to 'public'.

Each week between now and the festival weekend in August, the Bloodstock webmaster will trawl the shares and select a winner at random to win a pair of weekend tickets. There will also be other spot prizes for randomly selected winners during this period, including ‘upgrade’ vouchers that convert a standard ticket to a Serpents Lair VIP hospitality ticket (you’ll need to already have a standard ticket in hand to activate the upgrade, or you can purchase one if you win the ‘upgrade’ voucher), a raft of Bloodstock and band merchandise goodie bags, or the chance for you and a mate to watch side stage for selected band performances. Entrants must be sure to share from the official YouTube channel or your entry won’t be registered.

Now in its twelfth year as an outdoor event, Bloodstock is one of the U.K.'s most popular metal events.
Joining the headliners at the 2016 happening are special guests Gojira, Big Four pionneers Anthrax, and NWOBHM heroes Diamond Head. Other acts set to appear over the weekend include Fear Factory, Corrosion of Conformity, Paradise Lost, Dragonforce and more.

Weekend tickets for Bloodstock Open Air 2016 with camping, plus various VIP packages are available now  priced from £139 (+ booking fee). For more information visit the official Bloodstock site.
