Bloodstock Festival has added a further 13 names to its bulging 2018 line-up. Taking Place from 9th - 12th August at Catton Park, Derbyshire, the additions join headliners Gojira, Judas Priest and Nightwish, as well as a host of others, at the Midlands' metal fest.  The latest acts come as regional Metal 2 The Masses events reach a climax.

Friday welcomes Stoke champions Vulgore, who’ve been described as “groove-laden melodic death metal”, Leicester victors & hardcore fans Severn Hells, and Scottish prog metallers Turbyne, who picked up a spot via their CD application.

Polish heavyweights Ashborn, who clinched the top place in the Milton Keynes final, and Hitchin winners 13 join Saturday's bill. West Yorkshire-based Valafar also nab a Saturday spot.

Recently reformed and now champions of the Norwich final, metalheads Crawlblind join proceedings on Sunday. Also appearing that day are Burnley conquerors Autocracy  and Carlisle top dogs Drudge, whose twin vocal layered approach pays homage to the likes of Alice In Chains.

Bloodstock is also pleased to announce four more bands joining this year’s Jagermeister Stage line-up. Dropping in on Friday are Kamikaze Test Pilots, who come from the same school of sound as Melvins, Corrosion of Conformity, and Clutch, with a bit of a twist. Iced Earth bassist Luke Appleton debuts his new solo acoustic tunes on Saturday, in support of his new EP released this March. while Norwich bruisers Alpha Omega dish out some no nonsense metal on the same day. Finally, Sunday brings Leicestershire’s Dawn of Anubis to the fray.

Bloodstock has once again partnered with Big Green Coach to provide transport from all over the country from twenty-three pick-up points. Alternatively, if you're driving, Gocarshare provides ways to share your journey with a fellow traveler. There's a chance to winning a pair of tickets to next year’s festival just by using the the scheme. Full details are available by clicking the link.

Other acts confirmed for 2018 include melodic hard rockers Mr. Big, hard core crossover legends Suicidal Tendencies, and the Chris Jericho led Fozzy. For more names on the 2018 line-up, see the event poster below.
