Black Sabbath have announced a string of U.K. dates for 2017, as part of their farewell 'The End' tour. As well as a brace of dates in their hometown of Birmingham, the heavy metal pioneers will play shows in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Leeds. The tour will kick off in Dublin, when the band hit the city's 3Arena, on 20th January 2017.
Announcing the tour, a statement released by the band said: "The End is near! It started nearly five decades ago with a crack of thunder, a distant bell ringing and then that monstrous riff that shook the earth. The heaviest rock sound ever heard".
"Now it ends, the final eight shows ever in the UK by the greatest metal band of all time, Black Sabbath. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler return home to close the final chapter in the final volume of the incredible Black Sabbath story".
Tickets for all show, which can be viewed below, go on sale from this Friday, 17th June from 9am.
