Seminal Canadian heavy metal legends Anvil have unveiled a new video for ‘Zombie Apocalypse’, taken from their highly acclaimed new studio album ‘Anvil Is Anvil’. The release of the clip, which can be viewed below, comes as the band confirm a European tour which hits the U.K. in October.

Says vocalist and guitarist Steve 'Lips' Kudlow of the track: “‘Zombie Apocalypse’ is my personal favourite from the new CD. I love the feel and tempo which allows for melody and sheer power. I'm still finding it funny when I was asked “Zombie A coffee Lips?”.

Drummer Rob Reiner adds; “A blood Rock / Sabbath inspiration of sorts, combined with slamming doom feel, the track is hypnotic in nature, displaying a shredding of a guitar solo and has been fun to perform live!!! One of the many top tracks from ‘Anvil Is Anvil’!”

Anvil kick off their extensive ‘Anvil Is Anvil’ European tour with eight headline shows in the U.K. in October, before touring Belgium, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France and Italy. The full list of U.K. can be viewed below.

The band's sixteenth studio album, ‘Anvil is Anvil’, has been called an unambiguous, uncompromising, unmistakably Anvil long player, infused throughout with a fresh, sparkling, self-confident vitality, reflects both the band’s philosophy of life and new-found drive.

“We’re sometimes criticised for never changing,” Lips explains, continuing “But why should we change something we’re renowned for? Isn’t it much more important to stay faithful to yourself? To do what you do best? The idea behind our latest album is: we are what we are, and that’s how it’s going to stay!”
