Expect More Great Music From Guns N’ Roses.

Guns N’ Roses is by far and away one of the USA’s biggest ever bands. They have been active for well over 30 years and in that time have produced hits such as 'Sweet Child O’ Mine', 'November Rain', ' Welcome to the Jungle' and 'Paradise City'. The hard rock band which is made up of members like Axl Rose, Duff McKagan and Slash, has also been a hit in other areas too, even inspiring the renowned online gaming company Net Entertainment to create the popular Guns N’ Roses game.
The band is currently still on their ‘Not In This Lifetime… Tour’ which has seen them visit various continents and countries around the globe since it commenced on the 1st of April 2016. GNR has been well received everywhere they have performed, with Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese completing the on-stage line up.

However, one question in the mind of many is whether the band will go on to release new material following the end of the tour later this year. The prospects look good, much to the delight of GNR fans around the globe, as Slash has seemingly confirmed that there is indeed new material on the way from the band. Speaking about the possibility of new music from GNR Slash said, “We’ll see what happens.”

But, he went on to confirm that Axl Rose had already got new material finished when he said, “I mean, Axl’s got a ton of s*** that he recorded already, so we’re going to get in there and just start getting into that thing, and then if we do a record and then do a tour, I could see that cycle going on endlessly.”

This will certainly be music to the ears of fans, especially as there were rumours the band could split up when their current tour ends. Richard Fortus also indicated last year that there was the possibility of new material to come from GNR in the form of an album. He said, “We’ve been recording a lot of stuff, just ideas, assembling ideas, but not going into a studio and actually tracking a new record.” He went on to add, “The band is really a force right now, and I definitely hope that we do, and I think we’re all sort of counting on it, and we’re also planning on it.”

Guns N’ Roses has also announced in the last week that they’re going to be bringing their Not In This Lifetime Tour to Hawaii, which will see the band perform there for the first time in history. The show is set to go ahead on December 8th at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, which will be the final night of their tour. It will be a great way to cap off what has been a hugely successful world tour, and with new material said to be in the pipeline, it could just be the beginning of a GNR resurgence.
