Upcoming Music Festivals of 2023

Prepare your festival looks, stock up on sunscreen and get your fanny packs: the holiday season is upon us. Check out the upcoming major music festivals in Europe in advance. Those who can't attend their favorite events in person can head to streaming services or online channels to view the performances. Once you've planned your concert itinerary, remember your festival essentials, too - weather-appropriate clothing, a reusable water bottle, books, and sunglasses.
​DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL (DONINGTON, U.K.)
  • Dates: 8-11 June 2023
It's one of the biggest festivals in the U.K., and the line-up was announced on 7 November. Some artists performing at the festival will be Metallica, Bring me the horizon, Slipknot, Within temptation, Asking Alexandria, and many more.

The Download Festival is held at the rocky shrine in Donington Park next to East Midlands Airport. The festival occurs at the crossroads of the three counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, and Derbyshire, with good road, rail, bus, and air links.

COPENHELL (COPENHAGEN, DENMARK)
  • Dates: 14-17 June 2023
The festival has announced its full line-up, which includes Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Slipknot, Parkway Drive, Architects, Meshuggah, Halestorm, Clutch, Kellermensch, Zeal & Ardor, Fever 333, Sick Of It All and Cabal, Fishbone and more Bands, Angus Mcsix, Napalm Death, Harms Way, Malevolence, Saturnus, Møl, Skynd, Touché Amoré and more.

Almost three months until the festival in Refshaleøen, COPENHELL adds five additional bands to the festival poster: The famous "Troldspeiillet" presenter JACOB STEGELMANN is back on the main stage of COPENHELL! Finnish music pioneer Ville Valo had his big break during his collaboration with the rock band H.I.M. In between concerts, you can entertain yourself with a book or online games, or online casino, blackjack, and roulette; looking at the history of roulette can help you become a better player.

HELLFEST OPEN AIR (CLISSON, FRANCE)
  • Dates: 15 to 18 June 2023
In 2023, Hellfest will change to a 4-day format to welcome more than 200 bands on the festival's six stages. Metal legends, underground nuggets, and security values ​​will intertwine to offer festival-goers the cream of ultimate music. A timeless experience and an unparalleled atmosphere in the heart of the Nantes vineyards. After 16 editions, Hellfest has become a must-see festival for extreme music lovers.

This festival is one of the most famous, and the 2023 edition is sold out. No bands have been announced yet. Bands that can perform include Iron Maiden, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Pantera, Slipknot, and Kiss, to name a few.
 
GRASPOP METAL MEETING (DESSEL, BELGIUM)
  • Dates: 15-18 June 2023.
Grab a metal party. It's about enjoying music, screaming, raving, and partying together - the best of times. Metal brings people closer together. Belonging is great. A temporary, strong, and unique community is formed throughout the festival. Therefore, it is essential that every visitor, staff member, or anyone else involved feels safe and experiences the festival at its best.

Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, and Slipknot have been confirmed as the headliners of the significant Belgian festival. However, other big names such as Pantera, Helloween, Ghost, and Guns N' Roses are also rumored to be performing.

RESURRECTION FEST (VIVEIRO, GALICIA, SPAIN)
  • Dates: 28 June – 1 July 2023
Another 100% Resurrection Fest Experience proposal is for Resurrection Fest Estrella Galicia 2023.
Bring The Noise is pleased to announce that at Resurrection Fest Estrella Galicia 2023, we can enjoy the Resurrection Fest Boulevard for the first time. A tribute to the concert halls and record stores where rock culture was born, at Resurrection Fest City.

At Resurrection Fest Boulevard, the audience can participate in various events and experiences, live music, and tour each building within. Galicia organizers will have all the details in the next few weeks. Bring The Noise has been working for months to improve our viewers' overall experience.

Bands include Slipknot, Pantera, Evanescence, Ghost, and Rage Against The Machine. Although yet to be confirmed, the festival is 18 years old and one of the most popular. They're currently taking a vote among fans to see which bands they'd like to see, which you can get on their official website.

LEYENDAS DEL ROCK (VILLENA, ALICANTE, SPAIN)
  • Dates: 9 to 12 August 2023
It's one of the most anticipated festivals because it usually has one of the funniest line-ups. Confirmed acts include Megadeth, Mike Tramp, and HammerFall. Other alleged bands include Anthrax, Biohazard, Sepultura, H.E.A.T., and Killswitch Engage.
