Fifteen years' ago today, Marillion took to the stage in Manchester as part of their 'Anoraknophobia' tour. Later released as 'Anorak In The U.K', the show was recorded during what was seen as something of a 'dukes up', comeback period for the band. Leaving behind their “wilderness years” and stumbling upon a hit formula for what nowadays is a standard business model, 2001’s ‘Anoraknophobia’ got this strange engine started up again, and saw the band making inroads towards a new found stability. Here we look back at its creation, and speaking to protagonists Steve Hogarth, Mark Kelly, Steve Rothery and Pete Trewavas.
