While some of these products have been great, others have been less desirable. Below, we give three weird and wonderful products endorsed by Kiss.
The Kiss Kasket
While we may not want to think about it, death comes to us all. Never one to miss an opportunity, Kiss decided to capitalise on this inevitability by creating the Kiss Kasket, a rock-themed coffin with its logo strewn across the lid.
The product was part of an agreement between the band and Eternal Image, a company that specialised in creating licensed memorial products. Before this, they had an agreement in place to make similar ones with Star Trek properties. Lined with black velvet, the caskets are made from 20-gauge steel and wrapped in vinyl film.
The Kiss Kasket went on sale in 2001 and was so popular, that a second, updated version is now available to purchase. Vinnie Paul, the Pantera drummer was buried in a Kiss Kasket submitted by Gene Simmons himself.
Kiss Slot Machine
The latter is produced by Play’n 'Go and includes the band's iconic imagery along with a host of their original songs on the game. However, the former Shout it Out Loud game is the best for beginners. It is filled with free spins and wild symbols, which will have first-time slot players and advanced players hooked.
In a list of CasinoSmash's best online slots the games manufacturer, WMS, is included as one of their most trusted developers. Ranking them based on safety and innovation, it also has the most famous online casinos where you can play the slots themselves. There are also a host of other music-themed slots available on the sites they recommend.
However, slots are not the only branch of gaming Kiss has delved into. Their branded pinball machine by Stern is a really great device, known as a modern classic of its day. Certain models even feature speeches by Gene Simmons himself.
In addition to this, they have also released several board games. Including versions of Monopoly, one of the most interesting is 1978's On Tour game, which was bizarrely a trivia-based romp around America.
Kiss Toiletries
Quite why you would want to smell like a rockstar remains to be seen, as they are usually associated with cigarettes, alcohol, and sweat. Yet according to Kiss, nothing says rock and roll like the smell of sandalwood and bergamot.
However, that is what you are getting when you bathe in Kiss licensed toiletries and use their cologne. Launched in 2006, there was even a female version known as Kiss Her. Described as a spicy fragrance, it has notes of black pepper and cumin.
These odd Kiss items are just the tip of a very large merchandise iceberg. With the band still going strong, only time will tell what else they have in store.
