There is something about music that speaks to our souls. We’re not going to get too deep and meaningful about that magical interplay between mood and melody, but you know what we mean.
There is something about music that speaks to our souls. We’re not going to get too deep and meaningful about that magical interplay between mood and melody, but you know what we mean: there’s a reason, after all, that most of us have secret ‘sad day’ playlists, as well as gym tracks, ‘all is well in the world’ anthems, and a whole host of specially selected songs that help shape our moods and focus our minds.

One special niche that we want to explore in this article is the perfect casino playlist. Anyone who has ever tried their hand at poker or blackjack knows what we’re talking about: the tunes that act like a special charm. Helping to enhance playing, get you all geed up, and align your lucky stars, these are some of the must-have hits that you need to have on standby…

The Casino Boogie

This one really is too good not to include. An iconic anthem from the Rolling Stones, The Casino Boogie is the most amazing score when it’s time to enjoy some online play. It will have you tapping your foot in time to the music as you shuffle your cards and make your moves.

Viva Las Vegas

A classic anthem from Elvis Presley’s 1960s heyday, this ode to the ultimate gambler’s paradise deserves a place on your playlist too. Catchy, cool, and upbeat, it will help you to stay calm and collected as you peruse the wide range of live blackjack casino games that are available online.

Luck Be a Lady

Yes, we know it’s hardly an original choice, but who doesn’t want a little extra luck on their side? Roll the dice as Frank Sinatra croons away in your ear, invoking ever fickle fate to take your part and deal you a good one.

Poker Face

A more contemporary addition to our list of casino classics should be Lady Gaga’s second big single, the resoundingly relevant Poker Face. Encouraging us all to “play the cards with spades to start”, this iconic anthem will put you in the perfect headspace for a successful game of poker.

Night Life

Next up on our list, we have another Presley era classic: the ever enjoyable Night Life. A favourite amongst fans, the track originally featured on Elvis’ Flaming Star album in the 1960s, and was dedicated to the thrilling casinos of Las Vegas, a place that undeniably held the heart of the legendary king of rock and roll.

Big Spender

If you need some help limbering up those gambling muscles, a dose of Shirley Bassey is also recommended. Put your earphones in, crank up the volume, and embrace the decadent thrill of being a big spender for the night.

Ace of Spades

How about the addition of some music from Motorhead to this list? Be sure to include the aptly titled Ace of Spades as a final addition to help gee you up. After all, “the pleasure is to play, makes no difference what you say”. It’s a message that’s pretty pertinent considering.

What would you choose to include in a casino playlist of your own?
