Best Warm Weather Festivals for 2020.

If you have ever had a festival completely ruined because of torrential rain, flooded tents, or even having the headliners cancel due to bad weather, you probably don't want to take that risk again. By choosing to go to a festival in a place where it is usually nice and warm, you can reduce the chances of bad weather spoiling the week of a lifetime. Of course, good weather is never 100% guaranteed, but it at least increases the chances of not needing your wellies and waterproof poncho.

Coachella (Indio, California, US)
Coachella attracts some seriously awesome artists with the likes of Calvin Harris, Fatboy Slim, Lana Del Rey, and Lewis Capaldi all lined up for the 2020 festival, which is held in Indio, California. It takes place over two weekends in April, 10-12 and 17-19 and you will often see numerous celebs heading out there too, given how close it is to Hollywood. The average temperature in April is about 15°C with highs of around 21°C. The nearest airports are Palm Springs and Desert Resorts Regional, with shuttles regularly running to and from the airports to the festival site.

Weekend Beach Festival (Torre del Mar, Spain)

The Costa Del Sol is another great place to go to for a weekend of musical fun, with the Weekend Beach Festival being one of the best in Spain. This year it takes place from 1-4 July, and is great if you fancy a sunbather's holiday on top of your weekend of intense festival-going. Around just 20 miles from Malaga airport, it is easy to get to by bus or by using car hire Malaga airport. The town is quite small, but if you find accommodation well in advance you will be able to stay locally.

INmusic Festival (Zagreb, Croatia)
Croatia hosts a number of really good music festivals, and INmusic is their largest open-air music event. Zagreb has a good tram network that you can access from the central train station, or there is a shuttle from the airport to the bus station, where you can then take a bus to the festival.

Summerfest (Milwaukee, US)

It feels like it's been DAYS since we've seen the sun, so we'll bring the sun to you! Here's to knowing that sunny, blue-skied, festival-filled days are coming soon #147days pic.twitter.com/tkogL9oDMp

With so many of the best music artists hailing from the US, it is no surprise that there are loads of good festivals here like Summerfest. Justin Bieber is headlining on 24 June, whilst Khalid performs on 27 June, and the legendary Guns N' Roses are playing on 4 July; which is sure to be one huge party for Independence Day. A shuttle bus runs between the festival and downtown Milwaukee, which is one of the easiest ways to get there.

There are so many amazing festivals taking place this year around the world, and this is just a small selection of the ones where you are more likely to need your sunscreen, rather than your umbrella.
