Celebrating 40 years, W.A.S.P returned to Belfast’s Ulster Hall on Sunday night (26th March 2023), thankfully without the infamous riot that raged outside the same venue during an early visit in 1986. The original shock rockers treated the sold-out crowd to a fast-pace set with many of their early '80s classics, and the return of their most infamous number.

Returning to the Irish capital for the start of their 'Seize the Day' tour, and for their first gig in Dublin in seven years on Friday night (3rd March 2023), NWOBHM heroes Saxon were in fiercely fine form. Mixing classic tracks with a number of newies from latest set 'Carpe Diem', it was another vintage night from the veteran quintessentially English act. As if that wasn't enough, they headed north for their largest ever Belfast date at the Ulster Hall, the following night.
