As the guitarist and songwriter who wrote classics ‘Wasted Years’, ‘Stranger in a Strange Land’ and more, Adrian Smith’s status as Iron Maiden’s melodically-leaning six stringer is assured. What’s less well-known, is his love of fishing, however he’s about to cast aside all doubts with the release of his first book; ‘Monsters of River & Rock’, which details a lifetime in angling all over the world, as well as touching on his almost four decades (save for a break in the ‘90s) in his day job.
