Switching to Atlantic records and coinciding with the beginning of a new decade, Rush left the 1980s and their contemporary experimentation with keyboards and soundscapes behind for a return to their rockier roots. These four albums - 'Presto', 'Roll the Bones', 'Counterparts', and 'Test For Echo' find the band not only trying to find their identity, but traversing the murky waters of grunge.

This unique acoustic album reimagines beloved songs from their earliest days, offering a stripped-back sound that exposes the core of their song writing. Original vocals from Phil Lynott are paired with brand-new guitar parts from founding member Eric Bell, but is this a great addition to the Lizzy catalogue, or meddling with the past?
Originally released in 2001, The Cult's 'Beyond Good and Evil' was the comeback album the slipped between the cracks. Reuniting drummer Matt Sorum with band leaders Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy, it failed to meet commercial expectations. It remains however, a gem in their catalogue and is now getting its first ever vinyl release courtesy of Rhino Records.
It may have been a night for the tears to cease, as front man Bob Catley expressed, but that doesn't mean that there weren't a few shed, as British pomp rockers Magnum made their first appearance on stage following the passing of talismanic band leader Tony Clarkin. Celebrating their fallen comrade, the Midlands' five-piece triumphed at the opening night of their 'A Passage in Time' tour, at London's Kentish Town Forum.
