Fans of David Bowie are being invited to experience three of the icon's most celebrated albums in complete darkness as Bowie Nights returns with a trio of immersive listening sessions presented by Pitchblack Playback. Taking place at London's Lightroom, the series strips away distractions, encouraging audiences to focus entirely on the music through a high-quality sound system in a pitch-black environment.
The programme begins on 28 July2026 with Bowie's ground breaking 1972 masterpiece Ziggy Stardust, the album that transformed him into a global superstar with classics including Starman, Moonage Daydream and Rock 'n' Roll Suicide.
The series continues on 4 August with Let's Dance, celebrating Bowie's hugely successful 1983 pop reinvention. Produced by Nile Rodgers, the album features some of the singer's biggest hits, including the title track, Modern Love and China Girl.
Closing the run on 11 August is Earthling, Bowie's adventurous 1997 release that fused industrial rock with drum and bass influences. The album showcased the artist's restless creativity, with standout tracks including Little Wonder, Dead Man Walking and I'm Afraid of Americans.
