Following uncertainty when previous owners TeamRock collapsed at the end of last year, Metal Hammer's Golden Gods Awards is set to return. Sponsored by Orange Amplification, the spectacular event, which is a highlight in the metal calendar, will take place on Monday 12th June at London's IndigO2.

Doom metal dramatists Ghost have been confirmed as the final headliners for this year's Bloodstock Open Air festival. The Swedish act join Amon Amarth And Megadeth in closing the three day event, which is taking place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 10 - 13 August.
Brit Rock heroes Thunder returned to Belfast on Friday night (31st March) for a sold out show at the city's Mandela Hall. Making their first appearance in Northern Ireland in four years, the five-piece received a heroes' welcome as they tore through their impressive catalogue.
